David Neyhart is a certified public accountant with a strong interest and professional background in financial due diligence and financial advisory services. David currently serves as a Transactions Advisory Services Consultant for Duff & Phelps LLC, a premier global valuation and financial advisory firm, while he pursues his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Prior to beginning his graduate studies, David served as a Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory Services at Duff & Phelps and was responsible for preparing financial due diligence and quality of earnings reports for buy and sell side M&A transactions. In this role, David oversaw a team of analysts, led meetings with target companies’ management teams, and spearheaded internal initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention among analysts and junior team members.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Neyhart also held positions at GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group and KPMG. Throughout his career, David has developed a measurable track record of providing quality due diligence and informing mergers & acquisitions activities, while establishing strong client and internal relationships.
David Neyhart graduated magna cum laude from The University of Mississippi with a degree in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant registered in Georgia and New York, and holds FINRA series 63 and 79 licenses. David is currently pursuing his MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife and their dog.
